How pairwise prioritisation works
Why prioritisation instead of traditional rating?
Traditional rating scales (1 to 5) often produce similar scores for many topics, making it difficult to see what matters most. Pairwise comparisons ask participants to choose between two alternatives, revealing relative priorities that rating scales can struggle to distinguish.
How does pairwise prioritisation work?
Participants compare randomly selected pairs of statements and choose which matters more. We combine these individual choices across participants to identify the group's collective priorities, presented in clear rankings and visual reports.
How reliable are the results?
Randomised pairwise comparisons give participants an equal opportunity to express their views. We design the process to ensure sufficient comparisons across statements and participants, producing reliable collective results.
How widely has the method been used?
A proven methodology built on years of real-world use.
Our approach has been refined through millions of real choices across a wide range of organisations and business challenges.
